I make miniature polymer clay foods & can teach you how to as well!

Since 2024, Kiana has been teaching folks how to make highly detailed, adorable miniature food additions for their trinket shelves, fridges & general pleasure. Kiana has taught over 50 workshops, over 600 participants, iacross Ontario & abroad.

In these 2 hour workshops you will learn the basics of creating miniature foods with polymer clay, and will leave you inspired to continue playing with polymer clay! All supplies will be provided, and you may even have some extra clay to take home.

Come spend an evening in a room full of other adults, who, like you, take great joy in tiny whimsy things.

About the Artist 

Kiana Simmons (they/them) is an Ontario based miniaturist who is constantly playing I spy out & about in the world.

Kiana's art has always featured the small, the cute and the colourful. Their love of growing & eating vegetables translated into their first miniature vegetable creations during summer of 2020, at the kitchen table with their mom.  Their first piece was their miniature farm stand which has been displayed at the Miniaturie Enthusiasts of Toronto Show in 2024, the Ottawa Miniature Gallery and the Kitchener Public library. 

At the request of their friends, they hosted their first workshop, a mini chocolate box class, in February 2024. Kiana has since hosted over 35 miniature workshops across canada & abroad, in offices, kitchens, online & even at the farm!

It's been a great joy sharing this craft with others. Kiana's Miniature Veg workshops  workshops are laid back, silly, acessible and a lot of fun. You will learn the basic skills of working with polymer clay, and be inspired to make something unique. We all learn something new when we're creating together!
